One month later... tired and happy.

Wow! Satin Crystals new location has been open one month now! I can't believe what hard work I've poured into the business over this past month. But it feels good, now that I have a moment to reflect and relax.

A lot has happened within a month. I already have regular customers. We have a good number of enrollees for the first crystal class that is coming up next weekend. I have met interesting people from the community and beyond. I have met my local merchant neighbors. I have a new wardrobe for work now, and ready for more shopping! I have new displays and fixtures, and a great set up.

Along with all the new things and experiences, the existing traditions continue. The meditation circle is active and growing. Classes and workshops are being schedules more than ever. Ebay is struggling from neglect but still chugging along. The crystals continue to light up the room.

And finally, the tough lessons of the month. The hardest and saddest is coping with shoplifter(s) who have snatched away some of my beloved crystals. Moving furniture around over and over trying to get the perfect layout. Working long and exhausting hours by myself.

But along with the hard lessons comes gratitude. I'm grateful that the shoplifting has occurred early so I can find means to prevent it in the future. I'm grateful for all the friends who have assisted me in moving things around and store operations. I'm grateful that my mom and sister will be moving to the bay area this month so they can share in on the work!

Overall.... A+.
