I incorporate creativity in almost all areas of my life. I am a social worker during the day and a professional (I get paid) jazz pianist in the evening. Creativity has helped me be in the present with my clients when I am doing social work. Clients bring in a variety of issues that require improvising a solution to solve their. I learned the ability to improvise primarily from music. I have a trio, I also play duets with a stand-up bass player and play piano solo. In jazz improv, we play what we hear in our head in the moment, This is difficult at first because of the risk of not sounding musical or making mistakes. But through the act of surrenering to the creative flow, the music that I play for an audience of for myself is born of the moment and only played in that moment. The part of my brain that remembers and the part of my brain that judges is turned off. Once I play an improvised solo, it has been played--maybe recorded in the Akashic record--and will never be duplicated or replayed even by myself. So I take a risk, trust the moment and rely on creativity to arise effortlessly. I see crystal healing using aspects of creativity. The prescriptions I come up with are inspired by the same trust in the unknown and trust that the best healing crystal or crystal combinations will arise in the same way a piano solo arises and is maifested. I also rely on creativity when photographing (new hobby.) I wait for the what I think the right moment is-- lighting, framing, subjects and expressions and trust that creativity will manifest the best picture possible. I have always been taken care of when I turn things over to creativity. When I am creating, I am just one step away from the Creator. Did I win?

It's me again (Richard)--Forgot to let everon know that on November 3rd and 17th you can hear my creativity at the Revolution Cafe, on 22nd Street between Mission and valencia Sts., 8 pm to 11 pm. If you have visited My Page or visited my Web Pages you have heard and felt my Native American Flute. Most of you also know that I am a registered Crystal Skull Caretaker. As such my music has been played for my Crystal Skull. The Skull, The NAF and I then Journey together. After the first few notes it is the Skull that is playing not I. The creativity that has come into existence is not mine IT BELONGS to the particular Crystal Skull that I have started playing for. The Great Spirit knows that I have tried to play without my Crystal, but that is an impossibility. The notes are sour and The Spirit just is not there. But The second that I light the sage and cedar then place that NAF up to my lips and let my gaze melt into the eyes of the Crystal Skull, then I am flying ~ then I HEAR the notes I am to play and I FEEL The Crystal Singing through me...

The question arises, is it creativity on my part, or is it The Crystal Skull's??
Yes I get pleasure from it, BUT is it actually mine, or The Crystal Skull's??
The answer is I do not know - People you know me, you know the power of The Crystal and you have heard the results - you be the judge...
